There's a lady who's sure....

I couldn't really choose a favorite song of mine so instead I chose a band which has had a lot of influence on my life. I know you are thinking how cliche Led Zeppelin sounds but this band really was a large part of my life. They were my Mom's favorite band, who she had seen live more times than she could count, and partied with them as well. I still remember seeing pictures of her standing with Robert Plant, and the rest of the band. Not only were they a great part of her life but they were also my first real introduction to music that actually stuck with me. They were the first real musicians I ever listened to and helped form my musical taste today. They remind me of my childhood and the innocence of it, and all of the good times I had. Still one of my favorite bands.

                                                    James and the Giant Peach

This movie is not my all time favorite but it is the only one I can remember that had a great impact on my life even as a child. I remember all the times I would curl up on the couch with a bowl full of popcorn and watch this movie either by myself or with my mom. It reminds me of the innocence of my youth and the time before I had so many responsibilities, as I do now. It is a movie that, no matter my age, even now, I can relate to on some levels. Definitely one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time.
